Kateri Sternberg
Kateri Sternberg is a Ph.D. in Education candidate specializing in Mathematics Education at the University of Delaware. Her current research interests focus on how pre-service teachers develop equity-oriented beliefs about teaching mathematics. Her dissertation focuses on how these beliefs are influenced during elementary student teaching placements. She currently serves as the Graduate Student Representative for the Pennsylvania Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators.
Prior to UD, Kateri earned a B.S. in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Scranton. She then taught middle school mathematics in McAllen, TX as a member of the Alliance for Catholic Education while pursuing her M.Ed. from the University of Notre Dame.
