Undergraduate Prospective Students

Applying to a teacher education program is the first step in an exciting journey of becoming a teacher. Our Elementary Teacher Education bachelor degree and Honors bachelor degree are designed to prepare you for your first classroom and to become an effective and innovative teacher.

There is a lot to consider in choosing the right university for you. Teacher education programs can vary quite a bit, so we have provided our top ten reasons to help you learn more about what makes our program special. We also would be happy to talk with you so that you can make an informed decision about where to apply and to choose to attend college.

Information about the application process for high school students or students who are currently attending another institution is available online. Current UD students who are interested in switching to the Elementary Teacher Education major can gain the information needed to do this online.
